Leviticus 24:18-20

¹⁸ But one who strikes and kills an animal must make restitution for it, a life for a life. ¹⁹ If anyone injures his fellow citizen, he shall have the same thing done to him as he has done: ²⁰ fracture for fracture, eye for eye, tooth for tooth. As he injured that other person, the same is to be done to him.
